Day 1: Monday
The Reach of Salvation
-
5 And now the Lord says—
he who formed me in the womb to be his servant
to bring Jacob back to him
and gather Israel to himself,
for I am honored in the eyes of the Lord
and my God has been my strength—
6 he says:
“It is too small a thing for you to be my servant
to restore the tribes of Jacob
and bring back those of Israel I have kept.
I will also make you a light for the Gentiles,
that my salvation may reach to the ends of the earth.”
-
We often begin a fast by looking inward at our own needs, but God tells His Servant that saving "our own" is too small a mission. His heart is for the ends of the earth—for the neighbours we haven’t met and the friends who feel far from Him. Real breakthroughs happen when we move from being a clubhouse to a lighthouse.
As we prepare for Easter, we have a unique chance to be that light. Fasting becomes not only a personal discipline, but an act of intercession—that others might encounter the Light of the World through invitation and presence.

Who is one person you can invite to our Easter service this weekend?
Pray for courage and timely opportunity
Take one intentional step to reach out to them
